University of San Agustin celebrates its feast day on August 28,
2015 with the theme "One mind, one heart, one San Agustin" and also
commemorates the death of Saint Agustin. It was followed by many events such as
the literary musical contest, film festival, play festival, cheer dance
competition, mr and ms USA, pasiklaband, Augustinian forum and the cassiciacum.
After the
successful event of intramural’s in University of San Agustin, it is followed
by patron saints day or Saint Augustine's day, which it is celebrated the birth
of Saint Augustine. It starts with the flower offering at the statue of
Saint Augustine and followed by a mass together with the students, faculty and
staffs. This was followed by many activities, many students participated
in the gym for the Cassiciacum started by the Augustinian friars and it
followed by Augustinian forum. After the forum, many students go outside to
watch the fireworks and together with the closing remarks and awarding
ceremony. As a graduating student in the university I have many experiences
about the activities and I treasure it together with my friends and classmates.
As I go along with my journey after I graduate next year batch 2015-2016, I
will keep it in my heart that University of San Agustin is really fun, exciting
and challenging, I am proud to be an AUGUSTINIAN student and ITS MORE FUN IN
UNIVERSITY OF SAN AGUSTIN.
